elysia ♾️💕🎀 @Lynxano@hellsite.site
queer autistic and gender queer plural system, and we are collectively elysia.
we love sharing our interests and feelings with others, and making friends and talking to them!
.
in general, we do not like social media, and using it in healthy ways is quite challenging. this is another reason we prefer conversation! yay
.
english is our first language, and we also can speak in french, but it is scary to do, since we have had extremely little experience speaking it.
english : ok!
français: ok!
we enjoy learning about language and linguistics, and we're interested in learning, and learning about, non Eurasian languages.
.
we have a lot of triggers, too much to remember. some notable triggers are manipulative tones and speaking styles, things relating to and caused by allistic priveledge, including autistic abuse, self destruction and harm (physical and mental, direct and indirect), death, generally anything hurtful to marginalised populations, capitalism, and gaslighting.
some of these overlap! it's like a puzzle game where some of them crisscross and get extra points for being consious of and thoughtful to us about the things that trigger us in multiple ways simultaneously.
.
we have always struggled with attaching our identity to the traditional concept of names. we like having the freedom to have multiple names, change between them as we like, and feel fluid in our attachment to them. currently, elysia is the first name we've been able to collectively attach ourselves to! we ask that you don't use any names you may have previously know us by, collectively.
individualy, we don't all have names or understood identities. currently, some system members enjoy being called aly, lea, elysia. elysia is good to use for anyone, but some members and certain feelings will prefer individual names.
.
we do our best to be healthy and thoughtful to ourselves and others. we really enjoy doing this, and whenever we have low spoons, it can be hurtful and negative feedback loop. when we have low spoons, we aren't able to be mindful of our own feelings, and using our favourite words for others is very challenging and stressful.
.
header is a night time picture inside a coniferous forest on the ascent of Hamilton Mountain during winter, with snow on the ground, and branches barren. The mountain divides the urban downtown of Hamilton Ontario, from it's the suburban uptown. It's roughly at the midpoint of the ascent, on a public footpath, a section with a soft incline compared to the rest of the mountain.
It's tinted pink and is overlooking a blurry high rise skyline. Ontario isn't a part of the city's name, and we use it distinguish it from other colonialist names for major cities in places like Bermuda and Aotearoa.
(we took the picture)
we love photography! it are a special interest! we also love trains. we went to the train station and did photography of it!
